In the Factory

In the factory and around any workplace, there are many areas where the owner of a business or site managers, can save time and money by installing an SMS monitoring system. Because we realize that there can be no error when monitoring a workplace, its assets and equipment, we recommend that the unit be programmed to not only send SMS's, but to also place a voicecall to the person that needs to be informed. Voicecalls have higher priority in the cellular networks and while an SMS can be held up some times, a voice call is leased likely to fail.

PLEASE NOTE: The SMS Controller can also be connected to your current alarm system so trigger a desired zone. Then you will be able to alert the monitoring company, as well as receiving your own SMS.

Below are a few examples of available SMS monitoring and automation features in the factory:

Alarm System

An SMS feature can be added to your current alarm to add the following functions:

Remote ARM / DISSARM         -         ARM / DISSARM by sending an SMS

STATUS request                    -         Send STATUS and alarm will reply stating if alarm is ARMED or DISSARMED

TRIGGER                               -         Receive an SMS or VOICECALL if alarm was triggered

Cooling Rooms

Temperature monitoring of cooling rooms can be done via SMS. Receive an SMS/Voicecall when temperatures drop below desired levels.
Also see Compressor Rooms, below.

Compressor Rooms

Receive an SMS when any of the compressors trip due to oil pressure high/low or overload.
Also use this function in conjunction with temperature monitoring.

Any 4-20mA equipment

There are many devices measuring speed of motors, water flow, weight, density of gas, etc that works on the 4-20mA industry standard. Any of those equipment will be able to connect to the SMS controller and you will receive an SMS when the SMS Controller receives an undesired reading.
